AAMS™, CCPS® Director of Operations, Financial Planning Associate

With more than 10 years of experience with The Millstone Evans Group, Martial develops long-term operations strategies and works closely with other senior management to oversee day-to-day operations. He also coordinates all client requests, assists in setup and withdrawal questions relating to 529 education savings plans, helps clients navigate the team’s online personal wealth management tools, and oversees technology and cybersecurity for the team.

In his role as a financial planning associate, Martial helps to build and review financial plans for clients. He takes a holistic approach to his work and believes that planning and investing go hand in hand. While investing is the vehicle that helps clients achieve their financial goals, Martial considers planning to be the essential first step in getting to understand each client so he can tailor their plans, align their portfolios to their goals as well as their values, and leverage Financial DNA®, the behavioral finance platform that The Millstone Evans Group uses to better understand client communication styles, behavioral biases and risk profiles.

Whether helping someone plan for college education or retirement, he’s passionate about helping people without a lot of investment experience – as well as those who have special concerns – feel comfortable with the process. Helping the LGBTQ+ community is particularly important for Martial, especially given the specific concerns around aging, equality and partnership, and often complicated financial planning needs of his community.

Martial holds the Series 65 securities license as well as, the Accredited Asset Management Specialist™ (AAMS™) and the Certified College Planning Specialist™ (CCPS™) professional designations. He is also an Accredited Financial DNA® advisor.
