William Kowalski

Vice President, Finance and Investments

William Kowalski is an experienced finance professional and business leader who is bringing new energy and opportunities back to The Millstone Evans Group, where he worked as a Financial Advisor from 2014-2018.

As Vice President, Finance and Investments, William plays a key role in fostering strong client relationships, identifying investment opportunities, and guiding individuals and businesses through the complexities of financial planning. His consultative approach and deep industry knowledge make him a trusted resource for both established clients and innovative startups looking to secure their financial futures.

With recent practical, direct experience gained from running his own company, William takes a first principles approach to financial strategy. “I always loved working with clients and helping people,” he says. “Having run my own business for eight years gives me a unique perspective and understanding of what goes into the numbers investors read when evaluating opportunities.” For every client, he engineers a tailored plan that aligns with their growth trajectory – one that supports both business and personal financial goals.

Prior to rejoining The Millstone Evans Group, William was Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Atomos Space, an aerospace company driving innovation in in-space transportation. For eight years, along with his Co-Founder and wife, Vanessa, they built Atomos from a pitch deck and an idea to a staff of forty that built and launched two satellites in 2024.

In addition to his work with The Millstone Evans Group, William is excited to return to being an active volunteer. As an alumnus of Techstars Boulder, Catalyst Campus, and Creative Destruction Labs, he’s eager to give back to the start-up community and help grow Colorado as an innovation hub. Currently, he is an Advanced Industries Grant reviewer for aerospace with the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade. Prior to rejoining the Millstone Evans Group, William was also Co-Chair of the Policy Committee for the international satellite servicing consortium, CONFERS, and longtime Associate Board member of the Colorado Symphony Orchestra.

William graduated from SUNY Empire State College with a Bachelor of Science in Finance. He holds Series 65 license as an Investment Advisor Representative.

He lives in Colorado with his wife and two children. “Spare time” is a rare commodity these days but when he has a bit of it, he enjoys reading classic literature and playing chess.
