A wealth manager with clients in 37 states, Sacha specializes in retirement planning and distribution strategies, estate planning, longevity planning, charitable giving, and managing inherited wealth.
An early advocate of socially responsible investing in 1986, Sacha is an established leader in environmental, social and governance (ESG) investing who has helped her clients create investment portfolios that reflect their values in areas that are most important to them. She was among the first investment advisors in the Washington, D.C., area to be recognized for her expertise in ESG investing, and she remains on the leading edge of it by adopting and leveraging the latest strategies, research and tools to help inform smart decisions.
Throughout Sacha’s career, her goal has remained constant: to help clients achieve their financial goals by taking a holistic approach to each person’s and family’s needs and objectives, planning carefully and creating tailor-made portfolios designed to manage risk and achieve targeted returns most effectively. She starts by building strong relationships with clients, many of whom are long term and have brought new clients to her.
As a leader, Sacha has established a team culture where the top priority is to connect with clients in a clear, personal way that differentiates the team from the jargon-filled, impersonal nature of numerous financial advisor firms. She helps her clients develop retirement strategies to account for all life stages, from accumulation to distribution. This includes focusing on longevity planning, establishing education plans, analyzing life and long-term care insurance needs, implementing estate plans, and creating charitable trusts and family foundations. Her approach emphasizes education as the foundation of building a smart, strategic plan – the investment portfolio follows from the plan.
Sacha has elevated her team’s client communications and is pleased to have added more timely market updates through email and video; revamped the Millstone Evans Group Blog with new posts, information and research around financial investments and planning; made it much easier to meet both in person and through Zoom meetings and larger-scale conference calls; and started her new Money Conscious podcast, which listeners can access via Apple, Spotify, Google or wherever you get your podcasts.
