Courtney Rucker joined the team in 2024 as a client service associate, supporting day-to-day client service needs, office operations and account management matters.
She says that the opportunity for relationship building is her favorite aspect of her new position. She is excited to be part of the small, dedicated Millstone Evans Group team as she gets to know clients on a personal level and learn about their lives and goals.
“One of the best aspects of working within a smaller team is that internal communications are better than within a larger group,” she says. “You feel like your input matters and collaboration is easier and goal oriented.”
Looking ahead, she is very interested in financial planning as well as compliance and wants to get involved more in both. She is also planning to get her Series 65 license, which will allow her to serve clients better.
In her most recent position, she worked at Merrill Lynch simultaneously as a Wealth Management Client Associate and as a Resident Director Assistant. She says her time there helped her “understand client needs and the importance of communicating closely with the client to make sure you’re covering all the account details, noting important account changes as they occur, and learning how to prioritize the most urgent requests and act quickly.”
She holds an MBA focused on organizational leadership from Wilmington University and a Bachelor of Science in economic sciences and business/managerial economics from Washington State University.
Originally from Grand Prairie, Texas, Courtney has lived in Colorado for seven years and loves it. “I came here for work but loved the hiking, nature and outdoorsy activities, so I have happily stayed,” she says. In her spare time, she enjoys being active in a. weekly young professional women’s group and spending time with family.
